BodyHoliday underwent renovations during summer 2018 and hasreopened with updated rooms rooms, a new juice bar, sushi counter and fully refreshed TAO restaurant.
The resort has 155 rooms which enjoy either garden or ocean views, with the most luxurious options located on or a few steps away from the water’s edge. All rooms are air-conditioned with contemporary furnishings.

The resort’s Ayurvedic Temple is a centre of tranquility where you can choose from over thirty different spa treatments, all performed by highly trained therapists. This is where guests can enjoy their daily complimentary 50 minute treatment, with a choice between massages, body wraps, hydrotherapy and facials.

Spring Sail is one of the resort's newest theme months, taking place in March with Olympic sailors Nick Thompson and Hannah Diamond working alongside the sailing club's team to offer introductory lessons and competitive lessons.
Jive June is dedicated to dancing, with a vast selection of dance and dance-fitness taking place as well as themed evenings led by award winning professional dancers Robin Windsor, Mila Lazar and Jennifer Benavidez.
September Solos offers reduced rates for single travellers in conjunction with a personalised schedule of spa treatments, fitness classes, sports and hosted group activities. The retreat is designed to offer the best elements of health, wellbeing and fun with other like-minded solo-travellers. Octoba Yoga is the ultimate retreat which caters for all abilities and includes limitless yoga and meditation classes with expert Natasha Richardson as well as special menus and therapeutic treatments.
With an emphasis on fresh, local and delicious food, BodyHoliday aims to supply its five dining venues with as much local produce as possible from its own vegetable garden. Healthy options and vegetarian dishes are available, with chefs trained to cater for a range of dietary requirements. Cariblue is the resort's main restaurant where there is seating for small parties as well as large communal tables, with menus featuring Mediterranean, Asian, Mexican and Caribbean specialities. Windows at Cariblue offers imaginative tasting menus in the evening with an open chef's station; TAO is a fine dining restaurant overlooking Cariblue Beach serving fusion cuisine; the Pavilion is a laid back option for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner including pizzas and grilled fish; while the The Wellness Café is a great choice throughout the day with an assortment of smoothies, wraps, paninis and salads. Two bars and a wine cellar provide spaces for guests to relax with a drink, mingle, enjoy live piano music or dance the night away.

With an emphasis on taking care of yourself, the concept of this unique resort really is very appealing and is perfectly suited to those looking for something a bit different. I would also recommend it for solo travellers, as guests are very well taken care of with hosted tables and single rooms without supplements meaning great value for money.
